“ There is not a better Burger that I have ever ate! Everything at Mel's diner is amazing! Including the owners who cook and serve you everytime no matter what . And their pancakes are amazing!!! I couldn't find a picture of the pancake but it was bigger than the plate! The sidewinder fries so crispy hot perfect . Fried mushrooms! Plus the price you can't beat! I just thank the Lord that they are close to where I live!! If you live far away it's worth the drive. The only downside is .... They close at 2:00 pm. But how else could they have a life and be the ones that cook for you and serve you every time no matter what. Thank you Mel's diner for amazing food every time we come in and I'd like to think we are frequent flyers for not living in the same town . Sorry this post is so long but this place deserves it!! I haven't had the pleasure to try their breakfast yet but their massive burgers, sandwiches, fries pies and other specials are packed with flavor. It has a great classic-style diner appeal and the service is always excellent. You get plenty of bang for your buck and you surely won't go home hungry. I couldn't recommend it enough. ”

“ If you live the 50’s and amazing food, then look no further! You have found a little slice of heaven in Prairie Grove, AR! We recently stopped in and was blown away! Outdoor seating, too! I had the chili and let me tell you! You will want to slap your momma over this one! I tried the chicken, as well. Just can’t go wrong with anything on their menu! Portions were huge for the price! The entire place took me back to a simpler time and I enjoyed every second of it! Even met the owners and they were just as kind as I knew they would be! Get on in there and have a great meal! Or just grab a fried pie! You can’t lose either way! ”
